Doll purchases part one




   I haven't been doing much with dolls lately but I finally saved up enough money to buy a few new dolls. Here are a few purchases that I made about a couple of days ago. I also have a few more in layaway at TRU.

 
 
I finally found the  twins from the collection "a Pony Tale" They are really cute and I don't have that many kids in my town so they were perfect. Only bad thing is is that they have no articulation.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
These are the new Fashionistas dolls that was recently released. As you can see the boys have molded hair and the girls are no longer articulated. I plan on re - boding this group to give them more  movement. I bought the beach ken because I love the way his hair looked plus I got him for 5.00 at walmart.
 
 
 
I'm not to big on Disney dolls but I really liked the Eric in this set. His face reminded me of a school teacher I had back in 5th grade so I decided to make this guy one. The ariel doll will probably be put in storage until I find use for her.

    Hello from Spain: great purchases. I want to buy the twins collection a "Pony Tale". They are very cute. I see that the new fashionistas dolls are not articulated. Poor! Keep in touch

    Oh, you found the twins. Congrats. I have yet to see them. I actually like the look of the new Fashionista men. The molded hair doesn't bother me. I think it gives them a more mature and totally different look. It's a bit of a shame about the articulation, but the guys never had great articulation, but I guess some was better than nothing.

    I got my twins over the weekend and posted them. I put them on Stacie bodies and I like them that way. I need to see the fashionista men in person to decide on them I like the outfit on the one with the dark hair.

      I rebodied just the boy so far. the fashionista guys are actually not bad. Their new body sculpts are nice for using as mannequins in a store or boutique. I am seriously thinking of repainting kens face though!

      Thanks! I know people have been saying that this set is hard to find. I'm just glad I was in the right place at the right time!
